Prerequisites
Good knowledge of TCP/IP. Previous network training a plus.
Certification
Certification consists of an online exam (1h30, 70 questions). The minimum certification score is 70%. The exam opens automatically on the day following the end of training, for a period of three weeks, on the https://institute.stormshield.eu platform. In the event of failure or impossibility of taking the exam within this timeframe, a second and final exam is automatically opened for a period of one week. SecNumedu certification.

Practical details
Teaching methods
La formation est délivrée soit en présentiel (en face à face pédagogique et en salle), soit en distanciel (présence à distance du formateur grâce à un système de visio et utilisation de la plateforme CyberRange d’Airbus). La formation alterne cours théorique et travaux pratiques.
Les participants reçoivent un support de cours composé du cours, des travaux pratiques (Labs) et de leurs corrections. Afin de pouvoir mettre en pratique les éléments du cours, les participants ont à leur disposition un environnement technique complet.
Afin de maintenir l’expertise du participant, toutes les mises à jour du support de cours sont accessibles au format PDF durant 3 ans sur notre plateforme https://institute.stormshield.eu. Le participant trouvera également sur cette plateforme un environnement virtuel lui permettant de manipuler le produit et rejouer les Labs en toute autonomie.

- Introduction to trace categories.
- Supervision and history graphs.
4 Objects
- Notion of object and types of object that can be used.
- Network and router objects.
5 Network configuration
- How to configure a box in a network.
- Interface types (Ethernet, modem, bridge, VLAN, GRETAP).
- Routing types and priorities.
6 Address Translation (NAT)
- Translation on outgoing flow (disguise).
- Translation on incoming flow (redirection).
- Bidirectional translation (one-to-one translation).
7 Filtering
- General information on filtering and stateful connections.
- Detailed presentation of filter rule parameters.
- Scheduling of filtering and translation rules.
8 Application protection
- Set up URL filtering in http and https.
- Configuration of antivirus and Breach Fighter detonation scans.
- Intrusion prevention module and security inspection profiles.
9 Users and authentication
- Directory configuration.
- Overview of different authentication methods (LDAP, Kerberos, Radius, SSL Certificate, SPNEGO, SSO).
- User enrolment.
- Explicit authentication via captive portal.
10 Virtual private networks
- Concepts and generalities IPSec VPN (IKEv1 IKEv2).
- Site-to-site with pre-shared key.
- Virtual Tunneling Interface.
11 VPN SSL
- Operating principle.
