1 Introducing Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Describe and define the concept of Open Source, Linux, Linux distributions and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
2 Command line access
- Log on to a Linux system and execute simple commands using the shell.
3 File management from the command line
- Copy, move, create, delete and organize files from the bash shell.
4 Help in Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Solve problems using local help systems.
5 Creating, displaying and editing text files
- Manage text files from a command output or text editor.
6 Local user and group management
- Create, manage and delete local users and groups.
- Manage local password policies.
7 File access control
- Define different authorization levels on Linux file systems.
- Interpret the effects of different authorization levels on safety.
8 Linux process monitoring and management
- Evaluate and control processes running on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux system.
9 Controlling services and demons
- Control and monitor network services and system daemons using the systemd service.
10 Configuring and securing SSH
- Configure secure command-line service on remote systems using OpenSSH.
11 Analysis and logging
- Accurately locate and analyze system event history for problem-solving purposes.
12 Networking management
- Configure network interfaces and parameters on Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
13 Installing and updating software packages
- Download, install, update and manage software packages from Red Hat and DNF package repositories.
14 Access to Linux file systems
- Access, analyze and use file systems on a storage system connected to a Linux server.
15 Server analysis and support
- Examine and resolve problems related to the web-based management interface.

The experts who lead the training courses are specialists in the subjects covered. They are approved by the publisher and certified for the course. They have also been validated by our teaching teams in terms of both professional knowledge and teaching skills for each course they teach. They have at least three to ten years of experience in their field and hold or have held positions of responsibility in companies.

An attendance sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training course, along with a certificate of completion if the participant has attended the entire session.
