1 Official program
- Introducing Parallel Sysplex.
- Sysplex initialization, CDS use and recovery.
- CF, structure, policy and recovery management.
- Dynamic implementation of CF, SFM and ARM.
- Overview of STP, DB2 and structure recovery and deletion.
2 Official practical work
- Remote lab access configuration.
- Navigation tips and tricks HMC 2.nn: classic tree-based user interface.
- Groups and profiles for sysplex activation.
- MCS console configuration via OSA ICC.
- Use commands to determine sysplex status.
- Dynamic ECS and GRS STAR activation.
- Reconfiguration of JES2.
- CDS incompatibility during syplex activation.
- CFRM pending conditions and recovery options for FP connections
- Demonstration of VTAM and ISTGENERIC.
- Management of coupling functions.
- Add a new CF and manage the reset profile.
- Implementation of SM duplexing.
- Sysplex fault management.
- SFM storage reconfiguration.

Experience with HMC and the Parallel Sysplex environment. Completion of one of the following training courses: ES42G or ES73G.

The experts who lead the training courses are specialists in the subjects covered. They are approved by the publisher and certified for the course. They have also been validated by our teaching teams in terms of both professional knowledge and teaching skills for each course they teach. They have at least three to ten years of experience in their field and hold or have held positions of responsibility in companies.

At the end of each training course, ITTCERT provides participants with a course evaluation questionnaire, which is then analysed by our teaching teams. Participants also complete an official evaluation of the publisher.
An attendance sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training course, along with a certificate of completion if the participant has attended the entire session.
