1 Discover Windows PowerShell
- Understand the basics of PowerShell.
- Execute commands and locate cmdlets.
- Automate tasks and write simple scripts.
2 Maintain system administration tasks with PowerShell
- Manage Active Directory Domain Services with PowerShell cmdlets.
- Configure network parameters on Windows devices via PowerShell.
- Manage Windows Server settings with PowerShell.
- Administer a local Windows machine with PowerShell cmdlets.
3 Working with the Windows PowerShell pipeline
- Understanding the pipeline in Windows PowerShell.
- Select, sort and measure objects via the pipeline.
- Filter objects with Where-Object.
- List objects in the pipeline.
- Send and transmit data via pipeline output.
- Transmit objects in downstream orders.
4 Using PowerShell providers and readers
- Connect to databases with PowerShell providers.
- Using PowerShell drives.
5 Querying management information with CIM and WMI
- Review CIM and WMI.
- Query configuration information with CIM and WMI.
- Interrogate and manipulate repository objects using CIM and WMI methods.
