Experience in Windows Server administration, Windows Client management and good knowledge of network technologies such as IP, DHCP and DNS.

  • Understanding the pipeline in Windows PowerShell.
  • Select, sort and measure objects via the pipeline.
  • Filter objects with Where-Object.
  • List objects in the pipeline.
  • Send and transmit data via pipeline output.
  • Transmit objects in downstream orders.

Using PowerShell providers and readers

  • Connect to databases with PowerShell providers.
  • Using PowerShell drives.

Querying management information with CIM and WMI

  • Review CIM and WMI.
  • Query configuration information with CIM and WMI.
  • Interrogate and manipulate repository objects using CIM and WMI methods.
