Introduction to CATIA V5

  • Present CATIA V5.
  • The basics.
  • Identify CATIA V5 menus and options.
  • Structure and tree structure.
  • Measure and analyze.
  • Gérer des bases de données.

Sketcher

  • Introduce the Sketcher workshop.
  • Define the sketch plan.
  • Create simple geometry.
  • Apply constraints.
  • Analyze and modify sketches.
  • Positioning sketches.

Part Design

  • Introducing the Part Design workshop.
  • Interact with Sketcher/Part Design.
  • Create basic components (extrusion, pocket, revolution, rib, draft, fillet, chamfer, etc.).
  • Create intersections and projections.
  • Update parts.
  • Measure and analyze.

Generative Shape Design (GSG)

  • Introducing the GSD workshop.
  • Geometric set notions.
  • Design 2D and 3D wireframes (point, line, axis, plane, curves).
  • Surface design (extruction, revolution, scanning, multisection).
  • Assemble and cut surfaces.
  • Surface dressing operations.
  • Project and intersect elements.

Assembly Design

  • Introduce the Assembly Design workshop.
  • Insert, move and position components.
  • Create assembly constraints.
  • Design in an assembly context.
  • Detect and analyze interference.
  • Manage product registration.
  • Measure, distance and section.
  • Set up scenes.

Drafting

  • Introducing the Drafting workshop.
  • Format the plan with frame and title block.
  • Create views, dimensions and annotations.
  • Manage links and save.
  • Insert bill of materials.
  • Print plan and generate PDF.


Options
Certification : 180 € HT
Les certifications CATIA V5 Associate sont : "CATIA V5 Assembly Design - Associate", "CATIA V5 Surface Design - Associate" et "CATIA V5 Part Design - Associate ". Pour chaque certification, il faut passer un examen. L'option voucher correspond à un passage d'examen.

PREREQUISITES
Good knowledge of the Windows environment.

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts who lead the training courses are specialists in the subjects covered. They are approved by the publisher and certified for the course. They have also been validated by our teaching teams in terms of both professional knowledge and teaching skills for each course they teach. They have at least three to ten years of experience in their field and hold or have held positions of responsibility in companies.

ASSESSMENT TERMS
Assessment of targeted skills prior to training.
Assessment by the participant, at the end of the training course, of the skills acquired during the training course.
Validation by the trainer of the participant's learning outcomes, specifying the tools used: multiple-choice questions, role-playing exercises, etc.
At the end of each training course, ITTCERT provides participants with a course evaluation questionnaire, which is then analysed by our teaching teams. Participants also complete an official evaluation of the publisher.
An attendance sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training course, along with a certificate of completion if the participant has attended the entire session.

TEACHING AIDS AND TECHNICAL RESOURCES
The teaching resources used are the publisher's official materials and practical exercises.

TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training course.
