This training course was interesting, but it wasn’t entirely in line with my role and my expectations. I was expecting more of a course on active listening in the context of interactions with a client or member. As a result, the exercises and explanations focused heavily on interpersonal relationships within the same team. However, I learnt a great deal from this course on a personal level and I’m glad I took it.

A good educational approach; the ‘mindset’ format, rather than a ‘training’ one, is well suited to the objectives of the majority of participants who have attended the course

I think it would be interesting to analyse situations using videos instead, as I’ve sometimes found the role-play scenarios a bit off-topic, partly due to our lack of experience or understanding of the objective.

Some of the content doesn’t really resonate with me (colour theory, the Plutnik wheel, etc.) because the theory seems a bit vague to me. But the practical application remained very hands-on.

The icebreaker was a good idea, but it took too long. At times, I found it hard to follow and see where we were going: more visual support (even a page filled in live) would have helped focus my attention. However, Denis was generous with examples and very available to provide additional information and meet participants' expectations. I appreciated the fact that there were joint exercises.

The content was very rich, the speaker was very pedagogical and authentic in his information and content, and the exercises were very interesting. Many thanks to Denis for all his new communication tools, his advice and his experience... I'm finishing this training course with things to put in place, tools to test, a better understanding of certain situations and communication tools to make things run more smoothly, understand better and 'Listen to understand and not to respond'... Thank you!
