The Geopolitics of AI: Technological Dependencies and Strategic Autonomy

Understand Technological Rivalries and Their Economic Impacts

New course

Artificial intelligence has become a major issue concerning sovereignty, competitiveness, and international influence. Behind these technological innovations, economic, political, cultural, and societal power dynamics are now at play, reshaping the global balance of power. Amid U.S. dominance, Chinese ambitions, Europe’s regulatory strategy, and the emergence of new hubs of innovation, organizations must understand the transformations underway in order to anticipate their strategic impacts. This seminar offers an in-depth analysis of the geopolitical challenges of AI—from strategic technological autonomy to issues of ethical global governance—to inform decision-makers’ choices in a rapidly changing international context.
