360° evaluation: the 3 stages in measuring training effectiveness


1.Before the course


  • Programme validationand teaching materials and methods
  • Checking suitability between the needs expressed, the content and the profiles of the participants
  • Self-positioning the participant's initial level and areas for improvement

2. During the course


  • Daily monitoring the smooth running of the sessions
  • Ongoing assessment by the trainer that the learning objectives have been achieved
  • Immediate collection incidents or adjustment needs

3. After the course


  • Assessment of prior learning via quizzes, case studies and role-playing exercises
  • On-the-spot assessment participant satisfaction
  • Analysis by the Quality and Teaching teams: strengths/areas for improvement
  • Cold assessment (at 3 months) of putting into practice what has been learned
These 3 evaluation phases enable us to decide on the following corrective actions to be set up if necessary.

These may be:
  • the organisation of a make-up session. The programme for this session is defined by the educational engineering department based on the needs of dissatisfied participants and the initial training programme.
  • an invitation to the same course with a different trainer.
  • an invitation to another course that better meets the needs of the participant(s).
