The steps
Once the need had been identified, I contacted my ORSYS consultant. We quickly agreed on the format to adopt, and I then worked directly with the selected trainer-coach to refine the project:
- a theoretical masterclass to provide all participants with a shared foundation of knowledge;
- optional workshops to go further into the different stages and techniques (project scoping and launch, testing and delivery, etc.) and to develop soft skills such as leadership or cross-functional communication, with each employee able to choose one or more workshops according to their needs.
As teleworking is the norm, the masterclass and workshops are run remotely from the classroom.
Results
Management joined me to test the first masterclass session and, for the most part, approved the approach. The first participants are also satisfied with this format, which fully meets their expectations.
Initial feedback on the masterclass enabled the trainer to adjust the program for the next groups to be trained.
Our objective
To ensure that all employees have completed the shared foundation by 2023, before moving on to the workshops.
