Teaching objectives
At the end of the training, the participant will be able to:
Analyze the context of a BPM project, understanding the issues, risks and constraints involved
Assessing the quality of process documentation
Formulate requirements in terms of practices, skills and deliverables, based on the project objective
Rely on the state of the art to successfully complete a BPM project

Intended audience
BPM project managers, project leaders or directors, transformation managers, project owners, business analysts, process designers, organizers.

Prerequisites
Experience in project management and business relations.

Teaching methods
Critical analysis of materials taken from real projects, followed by a process based on the Praxeme public method.

  • Examples of possible projects and conversions.
Storyboarding workshops
Initial background analysis.

  • Quality levels observed in process documentation: from diagram to model, introduction to the BPMN standard.
  • Relations with business players: the right distance.
  • Observation of reality inside and outside the company: job shadowing, benchmarking...
  • Conditions for successful BPM projects: skills, best practices, tools.
  • BPM approach.
Group discussion
Review of process models to raise awareness of quality levels and adjust them to the project's ambitions.

  • Sound out transformation intentions: analysis of demand and strategic orientations.
  • Design the new process, propose improvements: transformation scenarios, organizational innovation.
