  • Drupal's positioning in relation to other CMS.
  • Main features.
  • Architecture: Nodes, Core, Modules, Themes.
  • Multilingual management.
  • Install Drupal on a local or remote server.
Hands-on work
Demonstration of sites designed with Drupal. Install the site.

Creating and managing content

  • Content types.
  • Define content options.
  • Contents: create, edit, access, delete, search.
  • Configure the display of a content type.

Create a custom content type.

Taxonomies

  • Create vocabularies.
  • Associate a vocabulary with a type of content.
  • Work with different vocabularies.

The navigation system

  • Create a menu.
  • Add a menu item.

Addition of a menu-based navigation system to access content and services from the home page.

  • Position blocks on a page.
  • Block configuration.
  • Create custom blocks.
