Trainer: structuring your teaching sequence

The training sequence (also known as "scenario", "framework"...) is an essential ingredient of a successful session. It keeps the trainer on track, reminds him of what he has planned to deliver, helps him manage his time and, like a safety net, increases his self-confidence.

I expected more pace, content and involvement from the trainees. The trainer's speaking time was very long, especially in the morning. Better in the afternoon (alternating theory and practice). Numerous references to knitting and to the trainer's granddaughter were irrelevant for me in this course. (and yet I love manual activities and children).

I liked the content of the course and the way Jessica introduced each subject, which was very useful in helping me to learn the basics of being a trainer and to put the information and skills I'd learnt into practice straight away.
