Tuleap is open source project management software that improves software project management and connects team members. With a single Web-based solution, CTOs (chief technical officers), project managers, developers, quality managers and other users can easily create and deploy intelligent, high-quality projects. Developed by French company Enalean, Tuleap supports various development methodologies, including Agile.

  • Introducing Tuleap: background, key features, benefits for software projects.
  • Differences between personal space and project space.

Workspace configuration

  • Create and manage user profiles.
  • Set personal preferences.
  • Creating a personal dashboard: essential widgets and information management.
Hands-on work
Set up a customized workspace.

Exploring the interface

  • Tuleap navigation: main menu, search, quick access to projects.
  • Understand common project elements (Tables, Trackers, Files).

Guided exploration of a typical project.

Introduction to collaborative tools

  • Use of communication tools (forums, documents, wikis).
  • Planning a simple project using Tuleap.

  • Introducing trackers: creating, organizing and tracking tasks.
  • Introduction to the Agile Dashboard: Scrum and Kanban concepts.

Set up a simple backlog with trackers and assign tasks to the team.

  • Different types of trackers (tasks, anomalies, requests).
  • The process of creating, updating and monitoring a ticket.
  • Custom tracker filters and views.

Manage tasks and anomalies on an example tracker.

Discover software engineering tools

  • Overview: Git and Pull Request management.
  • Collaboration via Tuleap for software development.
Hands-on work
Simulate a basic Pull Request (without advanced configuration).

  • Key concepts of Scrum and Kanban.
  • Configuring and managing a Kanban board.
  • Using the Agile Dashboard to manage a sprint.
