A disappointing and off-topic training course. The trainer, who was very enthusiastic, spent two days delivering presentations on numerous related technologies at the expense of the technology in question, culminating in an hour devoted to regular expressions, which were, after all, a prerequisite. Practical work was limited to a total of five minutes, constantly interrupted by other topics, which made it impossible to concentrate. The course materials were never followed and were barely display

The trainer was enthusiastic (many interesting and relevant topics were covered) but not sufficiently skilled as a teacher: the course materials weren’t followed and there was no progression throughout the training, so I felt as though I’d been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information. Furthermore, in my view, some participants did not have the required level for this course: we sometimes spent time explaining certain concepts that should have

It could have been an interesting topic, but the trainer, who was very (too) enthusiastic, had absolutely no teaching skills. Very little use was made of the course materials; barely 15 minutes of practical work over two days; and no structure to the presentation (it felt more like a demonstration of the latest technologies than the subject of the training course). There was no ‘progression’ in the course – starting with the basics and building up skills – and I felt completely overwhelmed by th
