Operating Systems

The operating system is the cornerstone of our digital lives, connecting users, applications, and hardware. While it has diversified to include workstations, servers, connected devices, and embedded systems, Windows remains the dominant operating system for workstations. On the server side, numerous alternatives coexist, such as Unix, Linux, and Mac OS. While usage is becoming simpler on workstations, server tasks (system administration, networking, security) require experienced IT professionals. These skills, which often span multiple systems, must be constantly updated to keep pace with changes from software vendors.
