3 h 30 of training-workshop. Case studies with progressive operational implementation of the mechanisms studied. Sharing and feedback. Toolbox. Summary sheets.
Course schedule
1 Securing a potential change in need
- Set out the key points of an expression of need.
- Anticipate contract performance: identify risks, doubts or potential variations in requirements.
- Identify the differences between variants, PSE and options.
Hands-on work
Study a few concrete examples of risks by type of purchase. Case study: based on a given expression of need, identify the risks or grey areas to be taken into account.
2 Optimizing purchasing performance: the right use of variants
- Identify the types of variants: technical, financial, environmental or social, administrative.
- Use different variant formalization strategies.
- Drafting of DCE documents: evaluation of variants and scoring of bids with variants.
Hands-on work
Case study: defining strategic objectives, formalizing the drafting and scoring of a variant in a purchasing procedure.
3 Securing contracts: the proper use of options and PSE
- Know the potential options that a market can provide.
- Understand the specific features and uses of EPS.
- Drawing up DCE documents: integrating its requirements and scoring bids with PES.
Hands-on work
Case study: defining strategic objectives, formalizing the drafting and scoring of a PCE in a purchasing procedure.

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
