On completion of this course, you'll be able to create your own two-dimensional drawings using AutoCAD LT. You'll master commands for editing and manipulating existing objects, creating layers and text styles, adding annotations to a drawing and exporting it as a DWG file for later use.

On completion of this course, you'll be able to create your own two-dimensional drawings using AutoCAD LT. You'll master commands for editing and manipulating existing objects, creating layers and text styles, adding annotations to a drawing and exporting it as a DWG file for later use.


Teaching objectives
At the end of the training, the participant will be able to:
Produce or modify a 2D drawing by developing a drawing strategy based on AutoCAD tools
Adapt work for export to file or plotter
Customize, automate and optimize production tools in AutoCAD LT
Master the art of design in AutoCAD LT and use the main drawing tools
Use and organize entities with layers
Use the main annotation tools (text, dimensions and markers)
Produce a scaled layout including annotations

Intended audience
Manufacturing technicians, draughtsmen, project designers, design engineers, design office managers, anyone dealing with technical drawing.

Prerequisites
Knowledge of Windows environment.

Handling the Autocad LT work environment

  • The new interface. New tab page.
  • Help window, animated ribbon arrow.
  • Select tool palettes and save workspaces.
  • File formats.
  • Handling menus and toolbars.
  • Managing Autocad LT dialog boxes.
  • Auto hide, transparency, docking, content scrolling, command line, input.

Manage personalized spaces. Discover and use basic functions.

2D object modeling

  • Straight lines, half-straight lines, splines, multilines, ellipses, lines, arcs, contours...
  • Line thickness, line type...

Drawing and hatching

  • Object creation tools. The 2D polyline and the Pedit command.
  • Selection methods with rectangle, path and properties.
  • Basic editing tools: copy, move, offset, rotate, mirror, scale, join.
  • Multiline, multiline scale.
  • Change pattern origin, manage multiple hatchings simultaneously, polylines from hatchings.
  • Line thickness, line type...
  • Use of real associative dimensioning: linear, radial, angular, arc length, shortened dimensions.

Geometric construction and precision

  • Object attachment modes: end, middle, center, perpendicular, parallel, close.
  • Markers and magnetic markers.
  • Relative/absolute and rectangular/polar coordinate systems.

  • Layers: use and settings.

  • Existing templates. Template creation.
  • CAD standards and templates manager.
  • Check a file against the CAD standard.

Create a template using the graphic charter and CAD standards. Create an interactive title block with blocks and attributes.

Certification : 80 € H.T.
La certification TOSA® atteste pour une durée de 3 ans des compétences de l’apprenant sur une échelle de 1 000 points. Le diplôme TOSA® est envoyé si le score de l’apprenant est supérieur à 551 points. Une fois l’examen réalisé, l’apprenant peut consulter en direct ses résultats et reçoit par e-mail une attestation, une restitution détaillée de ses compétences ainsi que son diplôme sous 5 jours. L’examen dure 1 H 00 et se présente sous la forme de 35 exercices alternant entre des manipulations sur le logiciel et des QCM, dont la difficulté s’adapte selon les réponses de l’apprenant. Sans demande spécifique, il est dispensé par défaut en français et sur la version logicielle la plus récente. La surveillance est faite par un logiciel et est enregistrée à des fins de contrôle de conformité.
