Course schedule
1 GDPR and privacy principles
- Regulatory framework, fundamental principles.
- RGPD/GDPR.
- EU bodies: International Working Group on Data Protection in Telecoms (IWGDPT).
- Supervisory authorities, Article 29 Group.
- Legislation: legal framework, consent, categories of personal data.
- Register and maintenance: information to be provided (purpose, categories of data, data subjects).
- Register: what form should it take? What software tools are available to help create/manage it?
Exercise
Set up a personal data processing register.
2 DPO
- Appointment, functions, responsibilities. Awareness and training. Keeping watch.
- Internet governance, cyberrights and international data transfers.
- Transversality of the DPO within the company: collaboration with legal, marketing, IT and purchasing teams.
- Organize and contractualize relations between the various players.
- Relations with other data controllers: the assumption of co-responsibility. The code of conduct.
- Certifications and labels. Create and manage an action plan. Prepare for an inspection.
Exercise
Define the competencies of the DPO.
3 Risk management and information security
- Principles of responsibility.
- Risk management: concepts, risk analysis, methodologies, standards, monitoring.
- IS and security: functions and responsibilities, training and awareness, classification.
- Access, exposure, cryptography and digital signatures.
- Mobile security, Internet of Things: concepts, models and principles, applications, threats.
- New technologies, threats.
4 Incidents and protection
- Incident management: information security incident, event.
- Data protection impact assessment.
- Life cycle of personal data.
- Data loss or theft: what action plan?
5 Communication
- Management of warning systems, crisis management.
- With supervisory authorities, CNIL.
- Reporting tools, internal monitoring.
Options
Certification : 190 € HT
DiGiTT® certification is optional when you register for this training course, and consists of 3 stages: taking a Diag® before the course, access to a digithèque to learn the concepts and notions for each digital skill, and then taking the certification exam. This consists of a 90-minute test available in English and French.
The result certifies your skill level out of 1000 points (beginner, intermediate, advanced, expert).
Taking this course alone is not enough to guarantee a maximum score on the exam. You can schedule and take the exam online within 4 weeks of the start of your session.returnchariot
The certification option comes in the form of a voucher or invitation that will allow you to take the exam at the end of the training course.

The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
