Lead Implementer training gives you the expertise you need to support the implementation, management and improvement of an ISO 50001-compliant energy management system (EMS), with a view to reducing costs and improving energy performance and environmental footprint.
At the end of the training, the participant will be able to:
Master the concepts, approaches, methods and techniques needed to effectively implement and manage an EMS
Interpret the requirements of ISO 50001 in the specific context of an organization
Supporting an organization in planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and maintaining an EMS
Advise an organization on the implementation of EMS best practices

Prerequisites
Good knowledge of ISO 50001 and in-depth understanding of the principles of implementation.
Certification
ISO 50001 Lead Implementer certification exam - PECB. Exam duration: 3 hours on the afternoon of day 5? Examination format: answers to 12 questions in essay format, support allowed. Exam and support in English.

Introduction to ISO 50001 and initiation of an EMS
Management system standards.
Fundamental concepts and principles of energy management.
Area 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of the energy management system .
Area 2: Energy management system.
Area 3: Planning the implementation of an ISO 50001-compliant EMS.
Area 4: Implementation of an EMS compliant with ISO 50001.
Area 5: Performance assessment, monitoring and measurement of an ISO 50001-compliant EMS.
Area 6: Continuous improvement of an ISO 50001-compliant EMS.
Area 7: Preparing for an EMS certification audit.
Exam
Examination time: 3 hours on the afternoon of day 5? Procedure: answers to 12 questions in the form of essays, support authorized. Exam and support in English.

Anyone responsible for implementing the EMS and maintaining compliance with ISO 50001 EMS requirements
PREREQUISITES
Good knowledge of ISO 50001 and in-depth understanding of the principles of implementation.
TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TEACHING AIDS AND TECHNICAL RESOURCES • The main teaching aids and instructional methods used in the training are audiovisual aids, documentation and course material, hands-on application exercises and corrected exercises for practical training courses, case studies and coverage of real cases for training seminars.
• At the end of each course or seminar, ORSYS provides participants with a course evaluation questionnaire that is analysed by our instructional teams.
• A check-in sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training, along with a course completion certificate if the trainee attended the entire session.

Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
