Anyone wishing to get hands-on experience with VMware vSphere 6.7 or using ESXi, ESX and/or vCenter Server.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of technical architectures (systems and networks).

1 VMware vSphere 6.7
- vSphere 6.7 components.
- vSphere 6.7 architecture.
- VMware and vSphere vocabulary.
- Managing and using VMware vSphere licenses.
2 vCenter Server
- Overview of vCenter Server architectures.
- Use the vSphere Web HTML5 Client.
- Use the vSphere Web Client.
- Manage vCenter Server inventory objects and licenses.
- vSphere inventory management.
- Network management in VMware vSphere 6.7.
- Datastore storage and management.
Hands-on work
Discover and get to grips with the VMware vSphere 6.7 virtual infrastructure. Component handling.
3 Virtual Machine (VM) administration
- Creating, cloning and managing Virtual Machines (VMs).
- Templates: description, purpose and use.
- Template creation and management.
- Deploy Virtual Machines (VMs) using templates.
- Virtual hardware management.
- Snapshots and cold migration of Virtual Machines (VMs).
Hands-on work
Create a Virtual Machine. Handling and using Virtual Machine snapshots. Deploy Virtual Machines (VMs) using templates.
4 Virtual Machine (VM) migrations
- Overview of VMotion: features and benefits for virtualization.
- Virtual Machine (VM) migration options.
- Storage VMotion.
- Enhanced VMotion.
Hands-on work
Virtual Machine (VM) migration via VMotion, Storage VMotion and enhanced VMotion.
5 Use of resources
- The different resources available for Virtual Machines.
- Virtual Machine resource management (shares, limits, reservations).
- Performance monitoring and monitoring of Virtual Machine parameters.
- Infrastructure monitoring with available alarms.
Hands-on work
Using and manipulating virtual platform resources.

Anyone wishing to get hands-on experience with VMware vSphere 6.7 or using ESXi, ESX and/or vCenter Server.

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.

• A check-in sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training, along with a course completion certificate if the trainee attended the entire session.
