Course schedule
1 Meeting management expectations in the public sector
- Understand what the public sector expects from its managers.
- Understand the challenges of management in the public sector.
- Understand the manager's place in the organization.
Group discussion
Réflexions individuelles et collectives, échanges et retours d'expérience.
2 Developing managerial skills
- Analyze your relationship with others and your managerial skills.
- Position your team in its professional environment.
- Energize your team: lead meetings, delegate.
- Handling delicate situations and conflicts.
- Understand and act on the levers of individual motivation.
- Utiliser les outils du management : entretiens d'évaluation, délégation, organisation, reporting...
Exercise
Analysis of managerial skills, role-playing exercises in team motivation, conflict management, delegation and/or meeting facilitation.
3 Analyze service and performance
- Identify objectives and the organization in place to achieve them.
- Analyze team performance and climate (confidence, motivation).
- Identify HR risks in your team.
- Define appropriate professionalization methods.
Exercise
Analyze a department in terms of HR organization and risks, and propose solutions to improve performance and manage human risks.
4 Adapting management to teleworking
- Distinguish between the different roles of a remote manager.
- Diagnose the obstacles to remote management.
- Adopt a remote management posture.
Case study
Managing technical and human change.
5 Integrating collaborative digital tools into management in the public sector
- Understand the new public sector ecosystem.
- Integrate the notions of transversality and desynchronization into management.
- Develop a "service social network", do internal Community Management and set rules.

This course is aimed primarily at public-sector managers who are about to take charge of a team, but also at all those who wish to develop their best practices.

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
