Teaching objectives

Establishing governance for change management
Know the tools for promoting projects
Acquiring the skills of project managers
Drawing up budgets and managing margins
Monitor projects in terms of performance

Intended audience
This course is aimed at IT directors, project managers and multi-project managers.

Basic knowledge of project management.

  • The PMO (Project Management Office) is the current tool used by IT Departments to manage projects.
  • Project controlling, proactive information. Auditing, a tool for diagnosis and understanding.
  • Project culture today: managing change, the need for cross-functionality, collaborative working...
  • Multi-project management, rules: resource allocation, priorities and common processes.
  • Market tools, their benefits and limitations.
  • The concept of a program. Specific features, relations between program managers and project managers.

  • Measuring value: ROI, TCO, Value Management. A project-by-project approach.
  • The "Project Portfolio Management" process, rules and current practices.
  • Management tools.
  • Project investment management.
  • Distribution of costs over the IS lifecycle.
  • Take into account the company's technological choices.
  • Project governance (COBIT and ISO 20000), objective and performance indicators.

  • Project manager skills: technical, project management, leadership, communication, business.
  • Certifications (PMP®, Prince2®...).
