PHP 5, Advanced Programming

An introduction centred on OOP will provide you with an MVC approach for on-line applications. The presentation of components in a framework and communication with external processes will make you understand the strategic issues related to a more logical approach to developing Internet applications, of which Web sites are only one aspect. Exposure to the new prospects offered by Web 2.0 is also covered through an introduction to the AJAX standard, and by using rich clients communicating in XML flows with the server.
