Certification
The exam is taken online, in English. It is 60 minutes with 40 multiple-choice questions. A score of at least 85% is required to pass.

Teaching methods
Alternating theoretical presentations, discussion of participants' business cases, workshops, and mock exams with answers.
Course schedule
1 Applying the Scrum framework
- Refresher on agility and the manifesto.
- Scrum, an empirical process and its values.
- Ceremonies, collaboration with all team members.
- The product backlog, definition of done, etc.
2 Agile product management
- Product owner, representative of the product vision.
- Identification of the product’s value.
- Optimizing ROI (Return on investment) and TCO (Total cost of ownership).
- Notions of MVP (Minimum viable product) and MMF (Minimum marketable features).
- Notion of lean UX.
- Stakeholder relations and business strategy.
Hands-on work
Identifying value elements in a concrete example of a product.
3 Product owner's management of the product backlog
- Product backlog content, item types and characteristics.
- Refining the product backlog with the development team.
- Definition of needs (user stories).
- Tools to prioritize the product backlog.
- Issues that the PO must integrate into the management of the backlog: technical debt, evolutionary architecture, risks.
- Anticipating needs or risks.
Hands-on work
Story mapping or how to make users' needs emerge. Write user stories with their acceptance criteria. Use different cutting techniques.
4 The product owner and the release plan
- Point estimation, understanding stories.
- Using the team's velocity.
- Release planning and product roadmap.
- Overall value of the product backlog, a measure of the value produced.
Hands-on work
Building a dashboard for a Product Owner (PO).
5 Scaling up Scrum
- Scrum of scrums.
- Nexus: the context and framework, roles and events.
6 Certification
- Tips for the exam.
- Mock scenario under test conditions.
- Providing access for the exam.

Overall, the training was of a high standard and the discussions were interesting. However, I was a little surprised by the balance of the content. I felt that a lot of time was spent reviewing the Scrum framework and agility, as well as on exercises that were quite similar to those carried out during PSPO I.Given the level of the course, I would have appreciated an approach more geared towards ‘senior’ Product Owners, with more time devoted to piloting

They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
