The project
Boost the Excel skills of all employees

The need
Upgrade our teams' skills in Excel, the software used by our new ERP for all data exports.

The major difficulty is that some of the staff work in warehouses and do not have a dedicated computer workstation, while others are already familiar with the tool.

So the aim was to keep all the teams happy without creating a gas factory!

Why did you choose ORSYS?
Dutscher's training activity has evolved considerably in recent years. For a long time limited to safety and legal aspects, it now focuses on responding to requests made by employees during annual performance reviews.

This change in demand has forced me to expand my network of training providers.

That's when ORSYS contacted me. I was familiar with the brand and the richness of their offering. I decided to try them out on an initial office automation project (in-house Adobe training for six people).

The test was a success, so we quickly followed up with a second training course and then with this project.

Project progress 
Identification of the expert trainer the most appropriate person to run the training: this stage was carried out directly with my dedicated consultant.
Drawing up and sending a pre-requisite test to the participants to assess the level of each and create homogeneous groups: creation of the test by ORSYS educational engineers and the trainer and submission to the teams by my ORSYS consultant.

Analysis of the tests and allocation of participants to the different groups.
Ten groups have been set up: seven "beginner" groups and three "advanced" groups.

This stage was managed entirely by my ORSYS consultant, taking into account everyone's availability and ensuring a certain degree of diversity within the teams to create cohesion and avoid emptying entire departments for a whole day.

Tailor-made courses: the standard programme was adapted to fit into one day (instead of two) and incorporate the requests made by the teams in the ‘Comments’ field of the test.

Training: as some of the teams were working remotely, the training was conducted in a remote classroom.

Results: everyone is satisfied!
My employees have given me very good feedback on the training and the trainer, and I personally appreciated being able to delegate the entire project to my consultant!
