Azure DevOps, implementing the software factory

Like any software factory, Azure DevOps aims to guarantee the quality and fluidity of the development cycle and the deployment of new releases. Its distinctive feature is that it is on Cloud (meaning that all those involved in the project must work on Cloud) and specifically adapted to the DevOps method.

The DevOps principles were covered in general terms and explained clearly. We spent a lot of time on the ticket management module and not enough on the CI/CD section. The testing section was not covered. The exercises lacked real-world scenarios and examples, but the overall approach was explained.

The trainer lacked experience; the training was too academic and focused too much on the tools’ features. There was a lack of real-life examples.
