Practical details
Hands-on work
Practical work is targeted at the participants' professional context to reinforce involvement and facilitate the mobilization of skills at the end of the training course. Content is based on recognized scientific data, in particular the IPCC Working Group 2 report.
Teaching methods
Active and co-active pedagogy that mobilizes participants' collective intelligence and creativity. The participative pedagogical activities and supports are designed to meet the three learning profiles: auditory, visual and kinaesthetic.

A travers d’exemples concrets et de visuels, intégrer les notions clés pour se questionner et comprendre les impacts du changement climatique et les bénéfices attendus de l’adaptation pour l’entreprise. Outils et méthodes : visuels et infographies en soutien à la réflexion
2 Learning the method by doing
- Analyze the notion of risk and its components
- Understanding the difference and complementarity between mitigation and adaptation
- Assessing adaptation options according to IPCC criteria: a decision-making tool
- Building an adaptation path
Hands-on work
Mise en application pas à pas, à partir de cas concrets : identifier et classifier les composantes du risques , évaluer les options pour construire une trajectoire d’adaptation. Outils et méthodes : Jeu de cartes (risque, options, évaluation, trajectoire). Posters des notions clés.
3 Targeting a business issue
- Understanding the different types of challenges facing the company
- Combining climate risks and business challenges
- Define a target issue (what's of value to the company)
- Qualify the risk associated with one or more climatic hazards
Hands-on work
Mise en application pas à pas : A partir des différentes familles d’enjeux en entreprise, formuler un enjeu ciblé qui servira à la séquence immersive. Outils et méthodes : Poster des enjeux et notions clefs, cartes aléas
4 Applying the method to the target issue: immersive activity
- Apply the method to a key issue for the company
- Mobilizing the players concerned through collective intelligence
Role-playing
Activité immersive : A partir de l’enjeu qualifié, définir son exposition, ses vulnérabilités et les impacts potentiels. Rechercher les options d’adaptation. Evaluer et arbitrer pour faire les bons choix. Elaborer une trajectoire d’adaptation, construction et mise en récit.

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.

• A check-in sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training, along with a course completion certificate if the trainee attended the entire session.
