Teaching objectives
At the end of the training, the participant will be able to:
Identify the impacts of climate change and the associated risks for the company
Define the scope of adaptation (acting on impacts), mitigation (acting on causes) and their complementarity
Identify the benefits of adaptation on the value chain
Avoiding maladaptation and risk reinforcement
Maximize co-benefits
Developing a collaborative approach with stakeholders
Build a transformational adaptation path over the long term and a pragmatic one in the short term

Intended audience
Directors, managers, QSE or RSE officers and all employees of companies or local authorities involved in activities exposed to climatic risks.

Practical details
Hands-on work
Practical work is targeted at the participants' professional context to reinforce involvement and facilitate the mobilization of skills at the end of the training course. Content is based on recognized scientific data, in particular the IPCC Working Group 2 report.
Teaching methods
Active and co-active pedagogy that mobilizes participants' collective intelligence and creativity. The participative pedagogical activities and supports are designed to meet the three learning profiles: auditory, visual and kinaesthetic.

Hands-on work
Mise en application pas à pas, à partir de cas concrets : identifier et classifier les composantes du risques , évaluer les options pour construire une trajectoire d’adaptation. Outils et méthodes : Jeu de cartes (risque, options, évaluation, trajectoire). Posters des notions clés.

Role-playing
Activité immersive : A partir de l’enjeu qualifié, définir son exposition, ses vulnérabilités et les impacts potentiels. Rechercher les options d’adaptation. Evaluer et arbitrer pour faire les bons choix. Elaborer une trajectoire d’adaptation, construction et mise en récit.
