1 Introducing Camtasia
- Operating principle.
- Getting to grips with the graphical interface.
- Use of help. Main competitors.
Hands-on work
Using the graphical interface.
2 Creating a screencast
- The different types of screencast.
- The different stages in screencast creation.
- File storage. CAMREC and CAMPROJ.
- The screencast scenario.
Exercise
File management. Scripting a scenario.
3 Registration
- Camtasia Recorder settings.
- Project registration dimensions.
- Integrate the animator.
- Audio optimization. Noise suppression.
- Registration stage management.
Hands-on work
Set recording mode.
4 Assembly
- Discover the studio interface.
- Creation of the video cut.
- Insert images and captions.
- Set up transitions.
Hands-on work
Produce a montage incorporating video, images and captions.
5 The music
- Add music.
- Manual/automatic pitch control.

- Reassess the volume of transitions.

The course was good, but I thought there would be more on the e-learning side, with exercises in this area, i.e. tips and tricks for producing effective, relevant e-learning, etc...

I would have liked some information on 'Discovering the basics of e-learning' as indicated in the programme. We discovered an interesting tool, but to save time, it would have been good to give us the settings beforehand so that we could install the free version on our workstations, for example, and avoid wasting time connecting, and setting up remote access to the workstation.

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
