Know the principles of regulations relating to the sorting and management of waste from economic activities. (Equivalent to training ref.GCH.)

Course schedule
1 Validating fundamentals in a fast-changing environment
- A reminder of the basics.
- Ensure common terminology and language.
Exercise
Evaluation quiz with debriefing by the instructor.
2 Manage liaison documents with waste service providers
- Acquire a methodology for coding waste according to the European nomenclature.
- Learn about the range of official waste management documents.
- Understand the circuit followed by a Bordereau de Suivi de Déchets Dangereux (BSDD).
- Learn about cross-border transfer procedures.
Case study
Deciphering a selection of liaison documents proposed by the trainer or learners.
3 Guaranteeing compliance in waste management
- Identify the proofs of compliance required from players in the management chain.
- Take stock of the points to watch out for when using subcontractors.
- Learn about roles and responsibilities when working on buildings.
- Rely on looping with the keeping of a chronological waste register.
Hands-on work
Co-construction of a contract analysis checklist.
4 Understanding the impact of EPR development
Group discussion
Identify the limits and opportunities of using EPR channels according to your activity.
5 Integrating circular economy requirements
- Understand the 7 pillars of the circular economy according to ADEME.
- Translate principles into actions and make the link with waste production and management.
- Review the requirements of the Circular Economy Roadmap.
Group discussion
Assess your organization's level of maturity.
6 Acquire a methodology for reconciling waste prevention and management
- Know the principles of "waste analysis".
- Identify diagnostic points of attention from a lifecycle perspective.
- Identify the arguments in favor of waste prevention.
- Know how to find technical and financial assistance to optimize waste management.

PREREQUISITES
Know the principles of regulations relating to the sorting and management of waste from economic activities. (Equivalent to training ref.GCH.)
TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.

• A check-in sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training, along with a course completion certificate if the trainee attended the entire session.
