Prerequisites
Bonnes connaissances en ingénierie pédagogique. Expérience souhaitable en création de ressources de formation, notamment avec PowerPoint.
Certification
Validate the skills acquired during this training course with the ISTF "Genially User Expert - Level 1" Software Expert certification. Assessment methods: final online quiz based on attendance and completion of case studies. Minimum pass mark: 85%.
Practical details
Hands-on work
Exercises to produce an e-learning module. Manipulation of the tool to create resources. Case studies. Exchange of practices.
Teaching methods
100% distance learning course: alternating synchronous phases in a virtual classroom and autonomous phases with support from the trainer to produce the content.
Course schedule
1 Getting started with Genially
- Discover Genially's interface.
- Create simple asynchronous content with Genially.
- Create graphic layouts and simple quizzes: True/false, MCQs, MCQs.
Exercise
During the virtual class, learners work on a common exercise. They create the graphic design for a content item in Genially and produce a simple quiz.
2 Enrich your training materials with Genially
- Apply best practices for asynchronous formative assessment.
- Writing questions and feedback.
- Integrating and animating media to anchor learning
- Create smartblocks and graphs and use them for formative input.
Exam
Work on an exercise: integration of media, smartblocks and feedback. Group debriefing and sharing of best practices.
3 Optimizing the production of Genially modules
- Enrich your training content with various animated media (image, video, audio), smartblocks and graphics.
- Use an educational template to industrialize production.
- Identify best practices for the pace and duration of e-learning content.
- Create and share templates.
Exercise
Work on a common theme: integrating different media. Sharing templates.
4 Boost the interactivity of your Genially modules
- Collaborate to optimize the content creation and validation process.
- Discover Genially's other potential: interactive summary documents, impactful presentations.
- Enriching design based on Mayer's principles.
- Create drag-and-drops to vary teaching activities.
Exercise
Analyser graphiquement des contenus produits et suggestions d'amélioration. Finaliser le projet, le diffuser : format web à intégrer dans un parcours de formation en ligne.

The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
