  • Making yourself understood: the lexicon of project management.
  • The challenges facing project managers.
  • The foundations of authority: the project charter.
  • The foundations of project leadership: cross-functional management.

Integrate the organization of your project within the company

  • Analyze the characteristics of your project: opportunity study.
  • Identify the different types of project organization.
  • Define the company's project management approach.
  • Build a project organization chart based on the issues at stake.
  • Establishing the rules of the game: the project management plan.

Defining a communication strategy

  • Mapping of players and stakeholders.
  • Analyze stakeholders: expectations, motivations, influence on the project.

I was expecting a slightly different content (more related to communication in the strict sense), but it was interesting to see it more from a managerial and project management point of view, because without clear objectives and standards, it's impossible to communicate well within a team.

Content that did not address the substance of the subject. Project management was discussed throughout the course without ever getting to the heart of the matter, i.e. how to communicate in order to make a success of your projects. No practical exercises carried out in 2 days... too little, too late.

The training didn't meet my expectations. I wanted to improve communication in my projects but what we got was a project training course. The trainer was interesting but irrelevant
