Intended audience
Oracle database administrators (18c to 23ai), application administrators, system administrators and consultants.

Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Oracle DBMS administration. Or knowledge equivalent to that provided by the course "Oracle, DBMS administration" (ref. ORC). Experience required.

  • Create and manage basic services.

Create a service and a service start trigger.

  • Remote listener and connection filtering.
  • EM Cloud Control, EM Database Express and SQL Developer.
  • Network compression configuration.

Configure and start a remote database. Manage databases with EM.

Shared architecture

  • Creation of a CDB container base.
  • Create, clone and delete a PDB database.
  • Move a PDB from one CDB container to another.
  • Manage tablespaces, users and privileges.

Move a PDB base to a CDB container.

Resource Manager

  • Database Resource Manager configuration.
  • Create a new resource allocation plan.
  • Pool of active sessions and maximum execution time.
  • Create groups of resource consumers.
  • Manage resources between PDBs.
