Intended audience
Administrators, webmasters, developers, web designers and anyone in charge of a Drupal site.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of website design and HTML/CSS languages.
Course schedule
1 Introducing the current version of Drupal
- Positioning Drupal in relation to other CMS.
- Main new features and functions.
- Drupal site components: nodes, modules, views...
- Mobile management.
- Managing multilingualism.
Hands-on work
Install Drupal on a local server.
2 Creating and managing content
- Content types and fields.
- Define publishing options for a content type.
- Create, edit, access, delete, search for a type of content. Define new fields.
- Format content with an editor (CKEditor).
- The filter system.
- Integrate multimedia content.
- Manage the publication workflow.
Hands-on work
Create personalized content.
3 Taxonomies
- Create vocabularies.
- Associate a vocabulary with a type of content.
- Work with different vocabularies.
4 The navigation system
- Create a main menu, secondary menu and footer.
- Add a menu item.
Hands-on work
Addition of a menu-based navigation system to access content and services from the home page.
5 The blocks
- Position blocks on a page.
- Block configuration.
- Create custom blocks.
- Block and layout management.
6 The modules
- Install and configure a module.
- Module field: building your own content type.
- views module: customize content display.
- Other useful modules (CKEditor, entity reference, referencing...).
Hands-on work
Install and use a new module (field, views...).
7 Administering a Drupal site
- Administrator tasks. Dashboard.
- Access management: users, roles, permissions.
- Save and restore the site.
- Site production, cloning and updating.
- Automate tasks (content publication, etc.).
Options
Certification : 320 € HT
On completion of this course, you will be able to take the Trained People webmaster Drupal current version certification within a year. We recommend that you take this certification 3 to 6 months after your training.

They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
