  • Why storytelling in training: insights into neuroscience, memory and emotion
  • Narrative archetypes (hero, guide, obstacle, transformation) and their use in education
  • The 5-step narrative diagram: Context - Challenge - Solution - Means - Result
  • The links between storytelling and the teaching process: tension, trigger, closing loop...
Storyboarding workshops
Analyse collective via la diffusion d’un extrait de séquence de formation classique, puis analyse avec l'outil de la grille narrative.

Practical applications to training sequences

  • Telling to explain: transforming abstract theory into embodied narrative
  • Micro-storytelling: how to use a personal anecdote to create a bond
  • Transforming general content into an engaging narrative sequence
  • Structuring a teaching sequence as a mini-story
Hands-on work
Workshop: work in pairs on a real sequence from participants' projects. Narrative storyboard inviting participants to transform a sequence from their project into a visual narrative.

Storytelling and memory anchoring

  • Create memorable moments: opening, emotion, breaking, closing...
  • Create educational memories: visual, emotional, sensory, symbolic levers...
  • Use narrative anchoring techniques: metaphors, suspense, loops, flashbacks, humor...
  • Structuring a training course like a journey or a film: rites of passage and powerful transitions
Exercise
In sub-groups, participants invent and test a striking opening or closing for a real training session, using narrative anchoring techniques.

Practical application and professional anchoring

  • Role-playing: each participant animates a sequence from his or her narrative project.
  • Collective assessment: the narrative elements that each person decides to integrate into his or her posture as a training leader.
