1 Implications of the CSR approach to procurement
- The ISO 26000 standard and the seven core questions.
- Impacts of CSR deployment on purchasing policy and strategies.
- Responsible purchasing approaches: environmentally sound, fair trade, solidarity purchases, etc.
- The guidelines of the ISO 20400 standard "Sustainable Procurement".
Case study
Identify the themes covered in a sustainable procurement approach based on the purchasing policies of several organizations. Fun quiz on the different approaches to sustainable procurement.
2 Preparing the process: diagnosis and roadmap
- Mapping CSR issues and risks by procurement and supplier families.
- Prioritizing based on the company's commitments, the CSR issues of the purchasing family, and the supplier.
Group discussion
Discussion workshop: issues, risks, prioritization criteria.
3 Defining accurate needs and the specifications
- Defining accurate needs: Economic, environmental, social and stakeholder criteria.
- Formulating and integrating CSR criteria into the specifications.
- Becoming familiar with the life cycle approach.
- Implementing the total cost.
Exercise
Draft purchasing clauses: Integrate the life cycle approach and multi-criteria analysis. Total cost calculation.
4 Evaluating and selecting suppliers
- Designing a supplier self-assessment questionnaire.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing a continuous improvement process.
- Identifying suppliers committed to CSR: labels, certifications, management systems, etc.
- Declaring your commitments in an online selection process.
Exercise
Preparing a supplier audit.
5 Securing the purchasing relationship
- Adopting a Sustainable Procurement Charter.
- Defining a code of conduct for purchasing: the rights and duties of buyers.
- Ten commitments of the Responsible Supplier Relations Charter.
- Contractualizing progress plans.
- Measuring performance: Building sustainable procurement indicators.
Role-playing
Workshop to consider the actions to be taken to implement the ten commitments.

The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.

• A check-in sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training, along with a course completion certificate if the trainee attended the entire session.
