Intended audience
Adobe After Effects users. Video creators, anyone wishing to perfect their skills in video editing and special effects.
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects. Knowledge equivalent to that acquired in the course "After Effects, getting started" (ref. AFT). Basic knowledge of Photoshop desirable.
Practical details
Hands-on work
Using samples and videos, participants will first understand the benefits of each tool before making their own creations.

1 Upgrade
- Preference settings.
- Project and composition parameters.
- Color depth and workspace (colorimetric).
- Using the workspace (interface).
- Mastery of shortcuts.
- Key-frame animations.
- Media Encoder and After Effects rendering steps.
Hands-on work
Check what you've learned with quick exercises.
2 VFX creation
- After Effects tracking panel.
- Planar tracking in Mocha AE.
- Stabilization.
- Filling according to content.
- Keying.
- Rotoscopy.
- 3D tracking.
Hands-on work
Overlay on green background, clipping, replacement of an image area.
3 Animations in 3D space
- Understanding the 3D rendering stack (3D Bin Icons).
- Gizmo 3D functionality.
- Animation Camera with one or two nodes.
- Target point control.
- Depth-of-field adjustment.
- Use the Effect layer option and indent lights.
- Reducing transformations on pre-compositions.
Hands-on work
Create a pop-up animation.
4 Using expressions
- Property selection icon.
- Edit an expression.
- Curls and tremors.
- Use of scripts.
Hands-on work
Creation of a graphic animation template (mogrt).
5 Effects creation
- Setting a particle effect.
- Deformation effect based on a control layer.
- Plug-ins and scripts to know.
Hands-on work
Creation of a disintegration effect.

The teacher's lessons and delivery were good. However, as I use after effect in my work on a daily basis, I knew almost everything that was discussed during the week. The difference in level between the people on the course was quite significant. As a result, the level of the course was more of an intermediate level for people who know the basic principles of after effect and want to go further.

The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
