1 Presentation and news
- The different Exchange 2019 editions, license types.
- Discover the new features of Exchange 2019.
- The various administration tools available.
- Tools: Exchange Administration Center (EAC) and PowerShell.
- The Exchange Management Shell (EMS) environment.
- The new Exchange 2019 architecture.
- Interconnection with the Internet.
- Positioning of the different Exchange server roles.
- Different migration scenarios: Exchange 2013 to 2019.
Hands-on work
Create an Exchange 2019 interconnection plan with the Internet.
2 Installing Exchange 2019
- Exchange role definition.
- Hardware and software requirements.
- Virtualization and best practices for virtualizing Exchange server 2019.
- Installation methods: GUI or PowerShell.
- Setting up the system's physical platform.
- Active Directory integration.
- Install Exchange 2019. Check that the installation is running smoothly.
- Setting up a client workstation with Outlook.
- Finalize deployment to prepare production environment.

3 Basic administration

8 Security in Exchange Server 2019
- Backup and restore: schedule backup and restore.

Hands-on work

9 Interconnecting Exchange 2019
- Voice interconnection: introduction to unified messaging (VoIP).
- Interconnection with Skype for Business.
- Interconnection with SharePoint.

Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2012 or 2008 administration in a domain environment. Basic knowledge of AD.
TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
