Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2012 or 2008 administration in a domain environment. Basic knowledge of AD.

  • Discover the new features of Exchange 2019.
  • The various administration tools available.
  • Tools: Exchange Administration Center (EAC) and PowerShell.
  • The Exchange Management Shell (EMS) environment.
  • The new Exchange 2019 architecture.
  • Interconnection with the Internet.
  • Positioning of the different Exchange server roles.
  • Different migration scenarios: Exchange 2013 to 2019.
Hands-on work
Create an Exchange 2019 interconnection plan with the Internet.

  • Exchange role definition.
  • Hardware and software requirements.
  • Virtualization and best practices for virtualizing Exchange server 2019.
  • Installation methods: GUI or PowerShell.
