Prerequisites
General knowledge of Excel and databases.

1 Introducing Qlik Sense
- Qlik Sense at a glance. Qlik Sense versus QlikView.
- Architecture of a Qlik Sense application.
- Navigating the user interface: the hub, sheet mode, story mode.
- Data manager. Data loading editor. Data model viewer.
- What are Qlik Sense Cloud and Qlik Sense Enterprise for?
Role-playing
Guided handling: basic navigation in a Qlik Sense application: selection types, navigation between sheets and different objects. Discover Qlik Sense Cloud and Enterprise.
2 Data management with Qlik Sense
- Create a connection to a data source.
- Data preparation before loading into the application.
- Data association management (via wizard).
- Data structuring and modeling. Good modeling practices. Example of a star model.
- Create a dimension and a measure.
Hands-on work
Create a connection. Load data (file, database and web). Create a data model.
3 Creating visualizations
- Structuring an application.
- Measurements and dimensions.
- Creation of visualizations and different use cases.
- Use of expressions and variables in graphics.
- Introduction to "set analysis".
- Main visualization elements.
- Setting up a geographical map.
Hands-on work
Create different visualizations (including a geo-point map and a geo-zone map). Use of variables, expressions and main elements.
4 Collaboration and sharing in Qlik Sense
- Data storytelling.
- Application publication, sheet and story.
- Data extraction.
- Using Qlik Sense Cloud.
- Security management in an application.
- Conclusion: what's in it for me?
Hands-on work
Security: data restriction according to logged-in user. Storytelling: set up and publish a story.

C’était parfaitement adapté à mes attentes, conforme à ce que j’espérais être capable de faire avec Qlik en sortant de la formation voire même plus. L’équilibre entre pratique et théorie était très bon et le fait d’être en petit groupe a permis de poser nos questions au fur et à mesure et d’avancer rapidement

la formation était très bien mais elle mériterait d’avoir une vue plus globale sur un tableau de bord des le debut pour montrer le potentiel de Qlik

The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.

• A check-in sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training, along with a course completion certificate if the trainee attended the entire session.
