You can tell the trainer is passionate about the software, which is a real plus. Three days is a bit short. The difference in participants’ levels is holding the training back – perhaps the multiple-choice test used to gain access to the course could be improved?

The trainer, whilst very friendly, wasn’t, in my view, very organised. He wasn’t a particularly good teacher either; there was little interaction, and the course just ‘rushed through’ the material one topic after another. The overall standard of the course was also lower than we’d expected; we had a refresher but didn’t learn anything particularly new apart from a few minor details over the three days. One of the ‘students’ had never even opened the software in their life. The level isn’t 2 but

A useful course for learning about and practising After Effects. The technical conditions weren’t ideal: the projection screen was blurry, which made it difficult to follow the demonstrations. The content focused more on the technical aspects of After Effects than on motion design. I would have appreciated more creative advice, best practices and guidance on completing a full project in order to better understand the design process.

The teaching was very good; however, as this was an intermediate-level course, but some participants were beginners, the trainer had to adapt to ensure everyone got what they needed. Overall, I was very satisfied, but I might have been able to go into more depth if the participants’ level had actually been intermediate. That said, the trainer was really attentive and very approachable.

A lack of clarity on the part of ORSYS regarding the level and prerequisites required to undertake the training course with confidence.

Raphaël was a great teacher and didn't hesitate to repeat things several times to help us understand what we needed to know. He gave us lots of tips on how to go faster, make sure our files were clean and so on.
