Teaching objectives
At the end of the training, the participant will be able to:

Create and deploy web and mobile applications with Mendix
Integrate advanced functionalities such as APIs and databases
Optimize and debug your applications

  • Explore Mendix's user interface to get started.
Hands-on work
Creation of a first simple project: a presentation website with several pages (home, services, contact), to familiarize yourself with Mendix's basic functions.

  • User interface design with Atlas UI: widgets, layouts and customization.
  • Page navigation: application structuring and UX design organization.
  • Introduction to data management: database integration and connection with external APIs.
Hands-on work
Development of a product management application with pages such as product lists, product additions and product details.

Interactive features and user management

  • Introduction to advanced functions: forms and user data entry.
  • Manage interactivity in the application: field validation and conditional logic.
  • Authentication and user management: security integration and role management.
Hands-on work
Create a feedback form: add interactive fields, validate entries and send data to a database.

Debugging, optimization and deployment

  • Debugging techniques to identify and correct common errors in Mendix.
  • Optimizing application performance: best practices and tools.
  • Deploy applications on a distribution platform (cloud, servers, etc.) and manage updates.
Hands-on work
Debug an application and improve performance using Mendix's integrated tools.
