Intended audience
This course is designed for anyone (marketing, communications, HR, layout artists, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers) wishing to master the advanced functions of Photoshop.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Photoshop software or knowledge equivalent to that acquired in the course "Photoshop, getting started".

Course schedule
1 Image analysis
- Check the image's colorimetric mode.
- Check image dimensions and weight.
- Check image resolution (quality).
Hands-on work
Take an image and use Photoshop to check and adjust its color mode, dimensions, weight and resolution.
2 Retouching tools
- Apply a blurred or sharp effect to contours.
- Lighten or darken part of the image.
- Desaturate/saturate colors.
- Delete part of the image.
- Remove or reproduce material.
Hands-on work
Select an image and use Photoshop tools to apply effects such as blurring, sharpening, brightening, darkening and color saturation.
3 Settings, complex selections and clipping masks
- Brightness/contrast, levels, curves, saturation...
- Color matching.
- Draw a vector path.
- Detour complex areas.
- Crop with a layer and a drawn shape.
Hands-on work
Take an image and use brightness/contrast, levels, curves, hue/saturation and color matching adjustments to improve its appearance.
4 Color, text and puppet management
- Creating CMYK and RGB colors
- Create a color gradient.
- Type text into a vector.
- Convert text to image.
- Modify an image using the "Puppet deformation" tool.
Hands-on work
Create a new image and experiment with the creation of different colors using CMYK and RGB color modes, as well as color gradients.
5 Creating a mockup (adapting an image to a medium)
- Create a dynamic layer.
- Create and modify a mockup.
- Apply an image.
Hands-on work
Select an image and create a mockup using a dynamic layer. Apply the image to the mockup and explore the modification possibilities.
6 Automate operations
- Create an action script.
- Apply the script to one or more images.
Hands-on work
Create an action script in Photoshop to automate a series of operations on one or more images.
7 Artificial intelligence (AI) image generation
- Improved object selection.
- Delete an object in a photo with a single right-click.
- Neural filter for restoring old photos.
- Add a "matières" window for adding 3D textures.
- Generate Images with AI.
Hands-on work
Experiment with new AI features for improved object selection, object deletion, restoring old photos and adding 3D textures.
8 Save an image
- Save for printer (.tif, .psd).
- Save for printing (.tif, .psd).
- Save for web (.jpg, .gif, .png).
Hands-on work
Take an image and explore the different recording options for printing on a printer, printing in a print shop and for the web.
Options
Certification : 80 € HT
TOSA® certification certifies the learner's skills on a 1,000-point scale for a period of 3 years. The TOSA® diploma is issued if the learner's score exceeds 551 points. Once the exam has been taken, the learner can consult his or her results online, and receives an e-mail with a certificate, a detailed summary of his or her skills, and the diploma within 5 days. The exam lasts 1 H 00 and consists of 35 exercises alternating between manipulations on the software and multiple-choice questions, the difficulty of which varies according to the learner's answers. Unless specifically requested, the course is given by default in French and on the most recent software version. Monitoring is carried out by software and recorded for compliance control purposes.

They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
