Hands-on work
Getting to grips with the Open Source version of SoapUI. Create and run tests. Create Mock services. Use of "Point and Click" tests.

1 Introduction to Web Services testing with SoapUI
- Review of basic software testing concepts.
- Web Services: SOAP, WSDL, REST...
- Software testing applied to Web Services.
- The different software testing tools available.
- Introducing SoapUI's special features.
- Overview of SoapUI use cases.
2 Setting up the SoapUI environment
- Installing and configuring SoapUI under Windows.
- Introduction to SoapUI's graphical interface.
- Creation of a first SoapUI project.
- Adding a WSDL to a SoapUI project.

Installing and configuring SoapUI. Create your first SoapUI project.
3 Implementation of functional tests
- Why do functional tests?
- Define control points (assertions).
- Implement test scenarios (TestCase, TestSuite and TestStep).
- Introducing SoapUI's form editor.
- Editor's presentation of "contours" from SoapUI.
- Introducing the "Point and Click" test option.
- Export and analysis of results.

4 Implementing load tests

The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
