The smart building

  • Review of definitions, specific vocabulary and acronyms.
  • Define the challenges and regulatory context of smart building.
  • Discover smart building professions and the skills required.
Demonstration
The speaker establishes the smart building framework.

French and European regulations in force

  • The goal of carbon neutrality in 2050.
  • RE2020 and smart building.
  • The Tertiary Eco-Energy Decree, the BACS Decree, the Thermostat Decree.
  • The ELAN law, the ESSOC law, RGPD, accessibility, mobility...
  • European Directive 2010/31/EU.
  • Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI), Digital Services Act (DSA).
Demonstration
The speaker presents all the regulations and discusses them with participants.

Smart building labels

  • Distinguish between regulations, standards, frames of reference and labels.
  • Ready2Services(R2S) for the commercial sector and R2S for the residential sector.
  • The NF Habitat connected building section.
  • The GOFLEX energy flexibility index.
  • The WiredScore label (tertiary and residential), the SmartScore label and other smart building labels.
Group discussion
Discussions between participants and speaker.

Understanding the BACS decree

  • The buildings concerned.
  • The obligations and objectives of the BACS decree, followed by an example of deployment.
  • Budgetary implications and financing of the decree.
Storyboarding workshops
Group work and reflection on future developments and regulations.
