Prerequisites
Good knowledge of Windows 10 and/or 11 workstation management.
Course schedule
1 Install Windows Server 2025 or upgrade
- Introduction to Windows Server 2025. Positioning of the different versions.
- Windows Server 2025 licenses. (Perpetual mode, and Pay as you Go).
- Azure memberships and interconnections. (The Azure ARC solution for centralization).
- Overview of deployment methods. (The WDS and MDT role).
- The new Windows Server 2025 installation experiences (CORE and GUI modes).

Hands-on work
Install Windows Server 2025. Install minimum installation version. Deploy FODs.
2 Windows Server 2025 administration and configuration tools
- Administer your environment via the Server Manager.
- Administer a server using PowerShell (New Cmdlets 2025).
- Use server groups for administration.
- Installation and configuration of Windows Admin Center (WAC).
- Administer servers and Windows System Insights via WAC.
Hands-on work
Deploy roles and functions locally. Deploy roles and functions remotely. Install and operate WAC. Administer and configure servers with PowerShell.
3 Deploy Active Directory Domain Services
- Introduction to Active Directory 2025 and its architecture.
- Implementation of Active Directory Domain Services 2025.
- Manage AD architecture via the various consoles.
- Create and manage users, groups and OUs (Organizational Units).
- Managing objects in PowerShell.
Hands-on work
Deploy ADDS directory. Create ADDS objects. Create objects using PowerShell.
4 Identity management

8 Securing a Windows Server 2025 server
- Firewall management under Windows Server 2025.

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
