Given the cost of the training, it’s a bit of a shame – we were left wanting more: - a fiddly start (Wi-Fi, finding the venue, locating the canteen, ...), the course materials weren’t used on the first day and were barely any better on the second, the training hadn’t been prepared in advance, and there were numerous gaps or lulls over the two days; between the breaks and the gaps, we must have missed out on about two hours of training – the trainer was a bit lacklustre throughout. The trainer did not follow the course materials. The course materials were not opened until halfway through the first day of the training. The training lacked structure; exercises were set, but the theory had not been explained beforehand. There were many personal digressions. Too many lulls; the training could have been completed in a single day. The trainer has a great deal of knowledge but lacks teaching skills and structure. Only a quarter of the topics on the syllabus were covered.
