Practical details
Hands-on work
Test et évaluation de ressources. Démonstration et prise en main d’outils.
Analyse, construction d’argumentaires, exemples concrets en vidéo.
Teaching methods
Active teaching methods. Pragmatic approach and application as you go. Participants are encouraged to focus on the human factor without forgetting standards, and to build up their own toolbox.
Course schedule
1 Knowing which needs to be met first
- Discover the needs and practices of disabled users.
- Know the issues specific to web, mobile and office documents.
- Take accessibility into account when making technical choices.
- Prioritize accessibility defects: blocking or non-blocking, easy to resolve...
- Match solutions to available resources.
Hands-on work
Analyze the accessibility of a website. Watch videos: daily life for people with disabilities, digital accessibility points.
2 Learn more about digital accessibility
- Understand the legal obligations of government agencies.
- Know the RGAA, WCAG and ARIA guidelines for content creation.
- Know the ATAG standard on content editing tools.
- Use the documentation associated with the reference systems.

Building your webography: essential resources.
3 Promoting accessibility for successful project integration
- Moving from a prescriptive approach to one that takes people into account.
- Integrate accessibility into existing practices and know how to justify it.
- Leading change, overcoming resistance to the adoption of an accessible approach.
- Enhance the benefits for the public, beyond disability, for professionals and for the service.
Hands-on work
Create your own sales pitch toolbox to overcome objections.
4 Identify priorities
- Choose or promote accessible technical solutions.
- Guarantee user comfort and safety (control, operability, structuring).
- Check the intelligibility of the resource (comprehensibility, clarity, logic).
- Simply check that the code is valid and complies with the recommendations.
- Check that there are alternatives to satisfy all audiences.
- Adjust graphic and editorial guidelines.
Hands-on work
Identify the most common and blocking problems. Reflect on the right choice of web elements.
5 Auditing the accessibility of a digital resource
- Preliminary evaluation of a digital resource.
- Identify major shortcomings and explain their impact.
- Understand how an accessibility audit works.
- Understand the real objectives of an audit, beyond compliance with standards.
- Support the audit and implementation of corrective measures.

The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
