Course schedule
1 Getting to grips with the interface
- Understanding generative AI.
- Discover Firefly and its advantages.
- Access Firefly.
Hands-on work
Guided exploration of the Firefly interface.
2 Writing effective prompts
- Take inspiration from the prompts in the Firefly community gallery.
- Read Adobe's recommendations for writing effective prompts.
- Discover examples of basic prompter structure.
- Examples of advanced structures for writing prompts.
- Use the English prompt writing aid.
- Improve prompts with ChatGPT.
Hands-on work
Write and progressively improve simple and advanced prompts, and compare results.
3 Manage general settings
- Compare the different Adobe Firefly models.
- Use Quick mode and history to compare proposals.
- Choose an image ratio.
Hands-on work
Comparative testing of models, ratios and iterations using historical data.
4 Manage content type
- Choose Art, Photo or Automatic rendering.
- Adjust visual intensity to manage realism or a more artistic approach to rendering.
- Discover Firefly 2 photo settings.
Hands-on work
Creation of the same scene in Art and Photo rendering.
5 Define composition
- Discover the structural correspondence with the images in the gallery.
- Use your own images as structural references.
- Use a prompt image as a structural reference.
Hands-on work
Guided recomposition of an existing image.
6 Load styles
- Load an image from the gallery as a stylistic reference.
- Adjust the strength of the style.
- Load your own images with stylistic references.
- Apply effects by choosing from classified themes.
- Adjust the Color and tone section.
- Test different lighting styles.
- Select camera angles.
Hands-on work
Stylistic study and artistic direction.
7 Using generative filling
- Insert elements locally or use generative development.
- Delete elements locally with generative filling.
- Change scene background.
- Discover more advanced options for generative filling.
Hands-on work
Retouching and targeted transformation of a scene.
8 The creative process
- Using structural reference in a creative workflow.
- Create a moodboard.
- Create a character.
- Create materials and textures.
- Creating architecture.
- Create a 3D object design.
- Create an animation with variations of a logo.
Hands-on work
Creation of a creative mini-project.

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.

Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
