Skills management is a key activity for improving performance and adapting to new public policies. This training course provides you with the keys to assessing your staff's skills, and the qualitative means to build a forward-looking management of your jobs and skills.
At the end of the training, the participant will be able to:
Mapping jobs and skills and mastering the principles of action
Understand the purpose of a job repository
Define job descriptions based on the business and employment repository
Combining job and skills analysis via a statutory, business and organizational approach

Defining individual and collective skills
Distinguish between knowledge, know-how and interpersonal skills.
Analyze and formalize the skills required for a position.
Identify technical skills: hard skills.
Identify the meaning of teamwork through soft skills.
The skills that make the difference: mad skills.
Exercise
Participants will work on a diagnosis of skills requirements for a position/department, and analyze the complementarity between a job description and a position description.

The professional interview: an essential tool
Visualize the managerial challenges of the professional interview.
Identify the year's performance evaluation stage.
Introduce reflection on individual and collective skills development within the team.
Understand the goal-setting stage.
Linking professional results and skills assessment.
Develop managerial and employee objectives.
Exercise
Workshop to define objectives based on a case study and their evaluation system.

Build your individual and collective skills repository
Carry out an inventory of all the skills in the target unit (department, team, community).
Group skills according to their type: managerial, technical, personal, behavioral.
Create levels with criteria for each skill based on expected results.
Build a skill type/expected level matrix for the unit.
Exercise
Participants define the skills map specific to the chosen unit.

Maintain and develop individual and collective skills
Determine the resources to be made available.
Build up a managerial follow-up of your team's skills.
Build a training plan for your team.
Measure the impact of available resources on agents' skills development and the effects on the work performed.
Exercise
Develop appropriate evaluation criteria and indicators.

No special knowledge required.
TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.
ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.
TEACHING AIDS AND TECHNICAL RESOURCES • The main teaching aids and instructional methods used in the training are audiovisual aids, documentation and course material, hands-on application exercises and corrected exercises for practical training courses, case studies and coverage of real cases for training seminars.
• At the end of each course or seminar, ORSYS provides participants with a course evaluation questionnaire that is analysed by our instructional teams.
• A check-in sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training, along with a course completion certificate if the trainee attended the entire session.
TERMS AND DEADLINES
Registration must be completed 24 hours before the start of the training.
