Teaching objectives
At the end of the training, the participant will be able to:
Building an accessible and valid HTML document structure
Master PHP syntax to develop a website
Installing and configuring a Zend Framework 2 and 3 application
Automating tests in Zend Framework

Anyone wishing to develop a back-end application with PHP.

Certification
This certification course is validated by a written exam in the form of a case study (see Ref. KDZ).

Databases and SQL for non-computer specialists

  • Introduction to databases.
  • Extract data from a table.
  • Query data from multiple tables.
  • Scheduling and statistics.
  • Present and sort data.
  • Use subqueries.
Hands-on work
Alternating presentations of sample queries, demonstrations and practical exercises.

HTML5, introduction

  • Introduction to HTML.
  • The structure of an HTML document.
  • The HTML document header.
  • The body of an HTML document.
  • Tabular data display.
  • The main form tags.
  • Digital accessibility.
Hands-on work
HTML language implementation.

PHP 7 and 5, developing a dynamic website

  • Introduction.
  • Web page automation.
  • Simple forms.
  • Complex variables: tables.
  • User session management.
  • Use of a MySQL database.
  • Complex forms.
  • Graphics in PHP.
Hands-on work
Windows or Linux machines equipped with the Apache web server with PHP module and a MySQL server are made available to participants. Participants will create a complete online sales site.

PHP 7 and 5, advanced

  • Introduction.
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Namespaces.
  • Composer/packagist.
  • Error handling.
  • LDAP authentication.
  • Databases: switch to PDO.
  • XML/DOM/XSLT.
  • Web services.
  • PDF and e-mail.
Hands-on work
You'll see how to put into practice the object concepts and APIs useful for developing enterprise applications (access to databases, LDAP directories, XML data exchange, web services calls, etc.) using PHP.

Zend Framework 2 and 3, web development skills

TRAINER QUALIFICATIONS
The experts leading the training are specialists in the covered subjects. They have been approved by our instructional teams for both their professional knowledge and their teaching ability, for each course they teach. They have at least five to ten years of experience in their field and hold (or have held) decision-making positions in companies.

ASSESSMENT TERMS
The trainer evaluates each participant’s academic progress throughout the training using multiple choice, scenarios, hands-on work and more.
Participants also complete a placement test before and after the course to measure the skills they’ve developed.

TEACHING AIDS AND TECHNICAL RESOURCES
• The main teaching aids and instructional methods used in the training are audiovisual aids, documentation and course material, hands-on application exercises and corrected exercises for practical training courses, case studies and coverage of real cases for training seminars.
• At the end of each course or seminar, ORSYS provides participants with a course evaluation questionnaire that is analysed by our instructional teams.
• A check-in sheet for each half-day of attendance is provided at the end of the training, along with a course completion certificate if the trainee attended the entire session.
